Accessible Ramps from the Nature Center parking lot to the entrance
Create an accessible path between the Nature Center's parking lot and the entrance to the Nature Center.
The Nature Center is accessible to disabled people, has ramps into the building and the paths are all mulched and can accommodate wheelchairs and strollers, however there are no ramps between the parking lot and the Nature Center's entrance and there is a curb on either side of the green space between the parking lot and the entrance, which means anyone using wheels has to go all the way around the green space to the street to enter the Nature Center.
We would like to create an accessible path between the parking lot and the entrance to the Nature Center. As part of this effort, we would also like to evaluate the cost of re-striping the parking lot to include some disabled parking spots. The lot is small enough that handicap parking spaces are not required, but we would like to see whether it makes sense to add an accessible space to the lot as well as the path.
