Divvy Bikeshare Dock at Forest Glen Metra Station
The Forest Glen Metra station is the first public transit station outside of the current boundary for Divvy rideshare stations. Dockless bikes, which can be taken into the nieghborhoods at night, would be a great alternative for local residents to use to get to Metra and CTA stations. Rideshare would strengthen the public transit assets in our ward, and make public transit a viable option for those living in less dense neighborhoods.
This budget item proposal is for the install a Divvy rideshare station at the Forest Glen Metra Station, and stock with dockless bikes.
This proposal has been rejected because:
Divvy Bikes and stations are not PB eligible since they are privately owned.

Having more Divvy Bikeshare Docks in the 39th ward is a win-win for residents, public transportation, and local businesses. When I take the Metra, I have to walk 3 miles to this station.
