This proposal would upgrade the surface of the splash pad at Eugene Field Park and add painting and beautification to the seating area. The splash pad has a rough concrete surface that was not replaced when the water spray features were upgraded several years ago. Although the rubber surfaces can get moldy, there are now options that are safer than concrete and do not get as slippery/moldy. The benches and pavilion are also dated and would look much better with a fresh coat of paint and other beautification. Additional benches around the splash pad would create more seating for families visiting this very busy park.

This proposal had been previously rejected but is under reconsideration for Cycle 4.
