It becomes dangerous when two lanes of heavy traffic have to merge to one, or vehicles gun through the deep water. Pedestrians on the sidewalk get splashed. Road debris washes up on the sidewalk and makes it dangerous to walk. The parkway has lost the ash trees and grass that once were there, and the damage is spreading. Just for reference, this is right across the street from the speed camera.
