Crosswalks, Speed Camera
There are no crosswalks leading into the forest preserve or at the nearest 2 intersections (Catalpa/Forest Glen Ave and Latham/Forest Glen Ave), so anyone wanting to enter the preserve has to quickly run across the street. People use Forest Glen Ave as a way to cut from the interstate to Jefferson Park to avoid the Foster and Cicero intersection and the vast majority of people speed and do not stop at the stop signs. The speed limit is 25 mph, but there are no signs in front of the park- they are spaced far apart and covered by trees. I am asking for crosswalks, speed bumps, and more clearly marked speed signs. I think adding a speed camera on Forest Glen Ave would be a major source of income too (I have no doubt it would bring in thousands per week and would hopefully force people to slow down).
