PB39th Ward
#SpendSomeTimeIn39 Participate to the 39th ward's PB!
Mayfair Civic Association supports installation of public art at Kedvale Playlot, Kedvale & Wilson. The art would consist of a sculpture entitled "Bountiful Bench". It would be installed by Chicago Sculpture International in coordination with the Chicago Park District. Total cost of installation, two leasehold years, and ultimate removal is $5,000. The installation is on the ground with a "rooted" support that does not damage the soil, does not require a permanent base, and can be installed and removed within 1 to 2 hours. This system has been used by CSI in various parks throughout Chicago (CSI has been working with the Park District for appr. 10 years. This sculpture has previously been installed in several Chicago Parks, most recently, Indian Boundary Park. It is available for installation in the Fall of 2022. For obvious reasons, it is very popular with children and their parents.

This proposal had been previously rejected but is under reconsideration for Cycle 4.
