Project Status: IN PROGRESS - Design is underway. Pricing and fabrication to follow. Anticipated installation will be in October 2023.

The proposal that was merged with this one looked like this (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K82KiFIzY-7tfWqj-EOK1hEEIrJxABel/view?usp=sharing), and the description was:
The intersection of Spaulding and Bryn Mawr has extra-wide sidewalks that would be great for a gathering area with new benches and a trash can. There is a an existing Church one one corner, a café and a taco/pizza place on another corner, and new businesses are currently being put in at the other corners (a daycare and a furniture store). This area gets a lot of foot traffic, and the new businesses will add to this. The central location of this intersection makes it a great place for families to gather when the weather is nice. However, there is nowhere to sit and there are no trashcans to help ensure a clean environment. (There is only one trashcan along the entire stretch of Bryn Mawr between Kedzie and Kimball.)
