However, the stretch between Kimball and Northeastern Illinois University has not received this same level of attention and is in rough shape. It does not feel as welcoming or safe. There are some great neighborhood businesses in this area as well as our library, however, they feel disconnected from the business distract on Foster east of Kimball.
