Make Augusta Boulevard Pedestrian Friendly
Augusta Boulevard is primarily a residential street, but is used as a traffic thoroughfare despite only being a couple blocks from other major streets (Chicago and Division).
The Boulevard lacks complete streets improvements that would make it safer for pedestrians, like frequent stop signs, curb bump outs, pedestrian islands, yield signs, or speed bumps.
These features should be added to Augusta to make it safe for kids, pets, and residents to cross and enjoy Augusta. Curb bump puts would also create space to plant trees, which are few and far between on this street.

This proposal falls within the full scope of feasibility for traditional Ward discretionary "menu" transportation funds. Menu money typically requires at least $60,000 per bump out and estimates at least $60,000 per pedestrian refuge island
