Proposal Development
Volunteers, called community representatives, co-create full project proposals for the ballot by:
- Narrowing down the initial list of ideas based on if the idea is eligible (infrastructure on public land) and feasible
- Research project details and learn more about the specifics of what the community needs
- Work with ward staff and city agency staff to determine costs and additional project details
-
310-18-2021 - 11-18-2021
Voting
Anyone who lives in the ward and is 14 years of age or older can vote.
-
411-22-2021 - 12-17-2021
Presentation of Winning Projects
Votes are tallied up and the projects with the most votes win. The projects with the most votes will be slated to be funded until the available funds expire.

Project Implementation
In accordance with the City’s usual process of procurement, the winning projects are submitted to the Office of Budget Management to be implemented. In order to uphold the values of transparency and accountability, ward staff regularly update the community on the project implementation process.
